The Quantum Devices, Inc. Model QR12 provides an upgraded feedback solution in applications typically using modular encoders. With its height of less than one inch and the firmness of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can significantly enhance performance in applications restricted by traditional modular encoder solutions.
The outputs of QR12 consist of two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
The encoder includes a flexible spring steel mount that allows for much larger tail shaft run out and TIR than modular encoder designs can handle, while also providing 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
