Accommodating larger motors, the RSA-HT heavy-duty electric rod actuator is capable of delivering high force with remarkable accuracy. With a choice of either ball or roller screw selection, this actuator includes a high thrust bearing and robust internal bumpers, both of which have been upgraded for improved performance. To ensure a long screw life without the need for disassembly, the actuator is fitted with a standard grease zerk that makes relubrication easy and convenient. Suitable for numerous applications including valve actuation, punch press, injection molding, and more, RSA/RSM-HT actuators are available in four body sizes, offer stroke lengths from 18 to 60 inches (457 to 1,524 mm), and can deliver a maximum force/thrust of up to 13,039 lbf (58,001 N). The roller screw actuators offer positional accuracy of +/- 0.0004"/ft (+/- 0.0102mm/300mm), and ball screw models provide +/- 0.002"/ft (+/- 0.051mm/300mm). Additionally, an optional IP67 linear actuator configuration is available for enhanced protection against dust and moisture.
