Quantum Devices, Inc.'s Model QR200 Optical Incremental Encoder offers an enhanced feedback solution in applications typically using modular encoders. With a height of just 0.93" and the solidity of a bearing encoder design, this model can significantly improve performance in applications previously restricted by traditional modular encoder solutions. The encoder outputs a quadrature with reference pulse and three-phase commutation, configurable with either the 5-volt RS422A Line Driver, an industrial standard, or the 5 to 26-volt OL7272 line driver. Its flexible structure enables it to tolerate a much larger tail shaft run out than modular encoder designs can handle.
