Quantum Devices, Inc.'s QD200 Optical Encoder is a superior rotary encoder feedback solution, commonly beneficial in applications involving modular encoders. Its outputs feature a quadrature with a reference pulse and three-phase commutation, which can be configured with either the standard 5 volt RS422A Line Driver or the more versatile 5 to 26 volt OL7272 line driver.
Designed with a flexible spring mount, the QD200 can handle a much greater tail shaft run out than modular encoder designs normally permit, also providing 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
Constructed with conductive carbon fiber composite, its housing offers the EMI shielding typical of an all-metal housing, without compromising on performance.
