Model QR200 Optical Incremental Encoder from Quantum Devices, Inc. provides an improved feedback solution for applications typically reliant on modular encoders. Boasting a height of just 0.93" and the robustness of a bearing encoder design, the QR200 model can offer significant performance enhancements in applications that were previously limited by traditional modular encoder solutions. It outputs a quadrature with a reference pulse and three-phase commutation, which can be configured with either the industrial standard 5-volt RS422A Line Driver or the 5 to 26-volt OL7272 line driver. Its flexible design supports much greater tail shaft run out than what modular encoder designs can endure.
