Quantum Devices, Inc.'s Model QR145 Optical Incremental Encoder provides a superior feedback solution in applications typically employing modular encoders. Its compact size, with an overall height of only 0.87", and the strength of a bearing encoder design allow the QR145 model to deliver significant performance boosts in applications that are limited by conventional modular encoder solutions. The encoder outputs a quadrature with a reference pulse and three-phase commutation, which can be adapted for either the industrial standard 5-volt RS422A Line Driver or the 5 to 26-volt OL7272 line driver. Moreover, its flexible design supports a much larger tail shaft run out than what modular encoder designs can endure.
