Quantum Devices, Inc.'s Model QR145 Optical Incremental Encoder offers an improved feedback solution in applications traditionally using modular encoders. With a height of only 0.87", and the stability of a bearing encoder design, the QR145 model can significantly enhance performance in applications that were previously limited by traditional modular encoder solutions. It outputs a quadrature with a reference pulse and three-phase commutation, which can be configured with either the industrial standard 5-volt RS422A Line Driver or the 5 to 26-volt OL7272 line driver. Additionally, its flexible design allows for much more tail shaft run out than can be tolerated by modular encoder designs.
