Model QR145 Optical Incremental Encoder from Quantum Devices, Inc. offers an enhanced feedback solution for applications that typically utilize modular encoders. Boasting a height of just 0.87" and the robustness of a bearing encoder design, the QR145 model can deliver significant performance improvements in applications previously restricted by traditional modular encoder solutions. Its outputs consist of a quadrature with a reference pulse and three-phase commutation, and it can be configured with either the industrial standard 5-volt RS422A Line Driver or the 5 to 26-volt OL7272 line driver. Its flexible design enables it to tolerate much more tail shaft run out than modular encoder designs can handle.
