The Model QR12 from Quantum Devices, Inc. offers an upgraded feedback solution for applications that typically use modular encoders. With its overall height of less than one inch and the stability of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can significantly enhance performance in applications previously limited by conventional modular encoder solutions.
The QR12 outputs consist of two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
Featuring a flexible spring steel mount, the QR12 can handle larger tail shaft run out and TIR than modular encoder designs, while offering 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
