Model QR12 from Quantum Devices, Inc. offers an advanced feedback solution in applications generally utilizing modular encoders. With a height of less than one inch and the solid construction of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can deliver considerable performance improvements in applications previously limited by traditional modular encoder solutions.
QR12's outputs include two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
This model also features a flexible spring steel mount that tolerates much greater tail shaft run out and TIR than can be accommodated by modular encoder designs. It also offers 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
