The Model QR12 from Quantum Devices, Inc. offers a superior feedback solution in applications traditionally using modular encoders. With its less than one-inch height and the sturdiness of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can deliver considerable performance upgrades in applications limited by standard modular encoder solutions.
The QR12's outputs include two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
Featuring a flexible spring steel mount, the QR12 can handle a greater degree of tail shaft run out and TIR than modular encoder designs, and also provides 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
