Model QR12 from Quantum Devices, Inc. offers an improved feedback solution for applications usually employing modular encoders. Boasting a height of less than one inch and the robustness of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can significantly improve performance in applications previously limited by traditional modular encoder solutions.
Outputs for the QR12 include two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
The model also features a flexible spring steel mount that supports much greater tail shaft run out and TIR than can be tolerated by modular encoder designs. In addition, it offers 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
