Quantum Devices, Inc.'s Model QR12 brings a superior feedback solution in applications that normally utilize modular encoders. With an overall height under one inch and the robust nature of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can realize significant performance improvements in applications where modular encoder solutions have been the limiting factor.
The QR12's outputs consist of two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
Featuring a flexible spring steel mount, the QR12 can tolerate larger tail shaft run out and TIR than is possible with modular encoder designs, and also provides 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
