Quantum Devices, Inc. presents the Model QR12, which provides an upgraded feedback solution in scenarios typically employing modular encoders. Standing less than one inch tall and boasting the durability of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can deliver significant performance benefits in applications restricted by traditional modular encoder solutions.
The outputs of QR12 incorporate two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
The encoder includes a flexible spring steel mount that tolerates larger tail shaft run out and TIR than can be accommodated by modular encoder designs, and also allows for 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
