The Model QR12 from Quantum Devices, Inc. provides an improved feedback solution in applications where modular encoders are traditionally used. With an overall height of less than one inch and the steadiness of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can significantly enhance performance in applications limited by modular encoder solutions.
The QR12's outputs include two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
The model incorporates a flexible spring steel mount that allows for a larger tail shaft run out and TIR than can be accommodated by modular encoder designs, and it also provides 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
