Quantum Devices' Model QR12 introduces an advanced feedback solution in applications that are usually dependent on modular encoders. With its height under one inch and the reliability of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 can bring about considerable performance enhancements in applications restricted by standard modular encoder setups.
The QR12's output comprises of two incremental quadrature channels, an index pulse, and three-phase commutation.
A flexible spring steel mount is integrated into the design, permitting substantial tail shaft run out and TIR that exceeds the tolerance of modular encoder designs, while also offering 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
