Quantum Devices, Inc.'s Model QR12 offers an upgraded feedback solution in applications that typically use modular encoders. With a height of less than one inch and the solidity of a bearing encoder design, the QR12 model can yield significant performance improvements in applications constrained by traditional modular encoder systems.
The outputs of the QR12 include two incremental quadrature channels with an index pulse and three-phase commutation.
The encoder features a flexible spring steel mount, which allows for a significantly greater tail shaft run out and TIR than modular encoder designs can handle, in addition to offering 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
