The AZX series of trapezoidal brushless servo amplifiers are designed to drive: 1 phase Brushed, Voice Coil, Inductive Load and Magnetic Bearing Motors and 3 phase Permanent Magnet Brushless Motors.
The AZX series of embedded, extended environment servo drives are capable of operating under conditions where other products shudder to go.
- Torque mode of operation
- Shutdown Heat Sink Temperature at a blistering +105°C (221°F)
- Ambient Operating Temperature from -40° to +85°C
- Complete Thermal Rise cycling in just under 2 minutes
- Shock up to 15g's at 11 msec, ½ sine
- Vibration up to 30grms's on all 3 axes
- Lightweight at only 95 grams
- ~97% {max.} efficiency
Engineering design and testing considerations to military standards guarantee capabilities that set new motion control standards for extreme environmental operation:
- MIL-STD-810F - temperature, thermal shock, humidity, altitude, shock & vibration
- MIL-STD-1275D - characterization of 28Vdc systems
- MIL-STD-461E - control of electromagnetic interference
- MIL-STD-704F - aircraft power characteristics
- MIL-HDBK-217 - reliability predictions
The AZX's capabilities can survive in some of the harshest environments. Best of all, they are more than affordable. This is especially true when uncompromising reliability is paramount and costs are critical to your success. These remarkable servos provide solid application solutions in:
- altitude research platforms
- airborne vehicles
- ground-based fixed platforms
- transportable devices
- ground vehicles
- marine surface vessels
- submarine vessels
- remote tethered equipment
- and many, many more proven successes
