The JR12 model from Quantum Devices, Inc. provides a superior feedback solution in scenarios traditionally using pancake resolvers with the same threaded shaft and jam nut mounting. Thanks to its less than one-inch height and the stability of a bearing encoder design, the JR12 can deliver substantial performance enhancements in situations usually limited by traditional resolvers or modular encoder solutions.
Output options include a quadrature with index pulse and three-phase commutation. A flexible member allows for more tail shaft run out and TIR than modular encoder designs usually accommodate, plus the incorporated mounting flange does away with the need for costly servo mounting clips.
