Quantum Devices, Inc.'s JR12 model offers an upgraded feedback solution in applications that traditionally use pancake resolvers with the same threaded shaft and jam nut mounting. The JR12, with a height of less than one inch and the reliability of a bearing encoder design, can significantly improve performance in situations that are typically limited by conventional resolvers or modular encoder solutions.
The output options of the JR12 include a quadrature with an index pulse and three-phase commutation. A flexible component accommodates greater tail shaft run out and TIR than most modular encoder designs, and the mounting flange removes the need for expensive servo mounting clips.
