The JR12 model by Quantum Devices, Inc. provides an enhanced feedback solution in situations typically employing pancake resolvers with matching threaded shaft and jam nut mounting. Thanks to its less than one-inch height and the robustness of a bearing encoder design, the JR12 can deliver significant performance improvements in settings usually constrained by conventional resolvers or modular encoder solutions.
JR12 offers output options such as a quadrature with an index pulse and three-phase commutation. A flexible component permits a larger tail shaft run out and TIR than is generally acceptable with modular encoder designs. Furthermore, the integral mounting flange does away with the need for expensive servo mounting clips.
