The HR12 model from Quantum Devices offers an enhanced feedback solution for applications that typically employ modular encoders.
Boasting high line count resolution, robust bearing construction, and a substantial radial and axial shaft play tolerance, the HR12 is a cut above the rest. It includes commutation for brushless motor control, a strain-relieved cable, and quadrature output with an index pulse and three-phase commutation, driven by industrial 26C31 differential drivers. Its flexible member allows for a greater tail shaft run out and TIR than most modular encoders, and provides 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
