Quantum Devices' HR12 model offers an upgraded feedback solution, surpassing modular encoders typically used in various applications.
The HR12 stands out with high line count resolution, strong bearing construction, and an extensive radial and axial shaft play tolerance. It features commutation for brushless motor control, a strain-relieved cable, and quadrature output with an index pulse and three-phase commutation provided by industrial 26C31 differential drivers. Its flexible member allows for greater tail shaft run out and TIR than commonly accepted by modular encoders, alongside providing 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
