With top-tier line count resolution, sturdy bearing construction, and a considerable tolerance for radial and axial shaft play, the HR12 excels. Complemented with commutation for brushless motor control and a strain-relieved cable, it also offers quadrature output with an index pulse and three-phase commutation facilitated by industrial 26C31 differential drivers. Its flexible member design tolerates more tail shaft run out and TIR than usually permitted by modular encoders and also delivers 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
