The T-JOY3 is a programmable joystick that can control three independent axes of motion. The joystick can be daisy-chained to any T-Series motion control products, allowing for a very flexible setup. All 5 buttons of the joystick are programmable to store a location, recall a location, or a host of other functions.
The joystick can run with or without a computer attached. In stand-alone mode the joystick is a compact controller that fits easily on the lab bench. Its functionality can be expanded simply by adding a computer or laptop running Labview, Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel, or your own program. The T-JOY3 programmable joystick is the ideal controller for microscope, x-y, or x-y-z stage applications.
The joystick is compatible with all T-Series products, such as the T-LS Motorized Linear Slides. RoHS Status: Pending.
The T-JOY3 is an easy-to-use, yet programmable joystick that can be used stand-alone to control up to three axis of T-Series actuators. It may also be used in conjunction with a computer for additional power and flexibility. In stand-alone operation, the T-JOY3 is ideal for XY or XYZ microscopy applications. The joystick is intuitive to use, and the buttons are pre-programmed with commands to home the actuators, save current position, and goto saved position. It is ideal for applications where complex computer control is not required.
The T-JOY3 may also be connected to the computer for more sophisticated applications where both the computer and the joystick can simultaneously control the actuators transparently through the daisy-chain. The five key-switches are fully programmable to either send any arbitrary command to actuators down the daisy-chain or to trigger the computer to execute command sequences. The entire daisy-chain can be controlled through a single USB or RS232 port on a laptop or desktop.
The T-JOY3 adds a new dimension to Zaber's T-Series product line. Combining the intuitive control of the T-JOY3 with the flexibility of mixing and matching any T-Series actuator for the three axis means that automating microscopy has never been so easy and affordable.
