Pittman's 6000 Series (0.86" diameter) brush-commutated DC motors offer low cost with high performance, and are ideal for use in applications requiring the power of an "ironless core" or "coreless" motor, without the associated cost. By using a skewed 5-slot armature design and bonded neodymium iron boron magnets, this motor provides more power than most other DC motors of similar size. Pittman's LO-COG brush-commutated DC motors offer smooth, quiet operation and long life. Armatures are skewed to minimize magnetic cogging, even at low speeds, and windings are resin impregnated for greater reliability in incremental motion applications.
Extensive options are available including: custom cables, optional brush materials, EMI/RFI suppression networks, shaft modifications, shaft-mounted pulleys and gears, ball bearings, special windings, and electromechanical brakes.
All PittmanExpress® motors, gearmotors, and encoders are dynamically tested to verify critical operating parameters.
